Little Manor

Residential Nursing Care

Set in award-winning gardens designed by Catherine Thomas, Little Manor provides comfortably stylish accommodation up to 26 people.
The gardens are designed to be therapeutic, providing sensory pleasure through touch, movement, colour and fragrance, and are extremely popular with residents and visitors alike.
The house itself is wheelchair friendly, has both a lift and stairlift to the upper floor and 20 of the spacious bedrooms have their own private en-suite.
Nearby is River Bourne Community Farm – a local charity which we supported at our annual summer garden party in 2013.

“On behalf of all our family, I would like to thank you for everything you’ve done for my aunt. You made her stay a very happy one, and I will always have fond memories of my visits to Little Manor.”
Niece of resident.

“Thanks for the wonderful care that you have given me during my stay.”
Former Resident.

“We would like to say how much we appreciated the staff’s hard work at Little Manor’s Christmas party this year. The home looked wonderful, games were arranged, we had singing, musical instruments to play and the most delicious food prepared by the chef. It really was a splendid afternoon.”
Member of resident’s family.

“This is just a note to say thank you for the care of my dad over the past few months. My family wants to acknowledge the care you provided to make him comfortable. I know this has been a team effort and please pass on our family thanks to all involved.”
Son of resident.

When it became impossible for the family to look after Dad, entrusting a loved one to the care of strangers, no matter how professional, was something the family worried about prior to the decision.  Our experience has been that each and every member of Wessex Care treated Dad as they would a memeber of their own family, the care and compassion shown was well above any reasonable professional expectation and was like suddenly having an expanded family looking after a loved one.  They made the end of life process dignified, gentle and above all caring for both Dad and family.  Thank you to all the staff at Milford and Little Manor”
Son of resident.

“A special thank you to all the staff at Little Manor for the excellent care and friendship given to my aunt during the months that she spent at you home”
Niece of resident.

“Thank you for the loving care and attention that you gave to Mum over the last two and a half years. We know how stubborn she was at times. We will miss her but know that she is happy now that she is reunited with Dad”
Daughter of resident.
